Hello, I’m Fadi Alshalabi.
I work in the field of digital education and smart learning solutions. With over 17 years of experience, I strive to contribute to building more dynamic and future-ready education systems. My journey has taken me across academic institutions in the Arab world and Europe, where I’ve been part of both local and international projects that combine technology, instructional design, and innovation.

I began my academic path at Damascus University, where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in English Language. I then pursued my postgraduate studies at the University of Edinburgh in the UK, completing a Master’s degree in Teaching Methods. My academic development continued in Germany at Kassel University, where I obtained a PhD in Higher Education Management and Academic Leadership. These diverse academic experiences shaped my global outlook on education and deepened my understanding of the challenges facing learning systems worldwide.

At Damascus University, I served as Director of International and Cultural Relations. I helped build academic partnerships with universities across the globe, oversaw exchange and scholarship programs, and coordinated large-scale skill development initiatives that benefited thousands of students. Later, I joined the Technical University of Berlin as a researcher and lecturer, participating in EU-funded projects under TEMPUS and Erasmus Mundus, focusing on quality assurance, accreditation, and academic mobility.

In 2016, I founded Niuversity, one of the first Arabic-language digital learning platforms. Together with a dedicated team, we reached over 80,000 learners across 40+ countries, delivering high-quality, interactive training focused on practical and digital skills. Notable collaborations include working with Google, where I contributed to learning programs that raised course completion rates from 2% to 92%, as well as educational initiatives with META and Pearson, and co-founding the German Energy Academy in Jordan.

I’ve also worked with universities to train faculty on digital teaching strategies, interactive course design, and building engaging learning environments. These varied experiences strengthened my belief that impactful education requires a thoughtful integration of technology with a deep understanding of learners’ behavior and needs.

Today, I continue to design and implement forward-thinking educational programs that focus on engagement, innovation, and creating real impact—driven by the conviction that education must evolve continuously to serve people first
